Job summary

Woodbury County is seeking a skilled facilities technician to maintain buildings, perform plumbing and electrical repairs, and manage seasonal tasks like snow removal. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and a hydronic license or ability to obtain it within seven months.

You must be able to lift heavy loads, work outdoors in varying weather, and pass a background check and drug screening. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repair/maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hydronic Engineer’s License or ability to obtain within 7 months.
• Background check, physical, vision, back screen and drug screening required.
• Good communication and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building maintenance.
• Performs minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Cleans sidewalks, driveways, parking lots and snow removal.
• Performs janitorial maintenance and cleans storage areas.
• Completes related tasks as assigned by Building Services Supervisor/Director.
• Maintains inventory and uses general tools as needed.
• Attendance is required.
