Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• Three years of custodial or building maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Ability to work independently and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of building cleaning, maintenance practices, and safety.
• Ability to perform maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: clean, wipe, rubbish removal, recycle, restock supplies.
• Conduct grounds and building maintenance: snow removal, repairs, door locks, lighting.
• Maintain HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps and related equipment.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry tasks and minor welding as needed.
• Operate and supervise non-County workers during projects when required.
• Participate in County Safety program and safety drills.
