Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation of a large multi‑purpose building. You will service HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, while delivering high standards of tenant service. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

You will perform routine repairs, assist with minor electrical work, and coordinate with vendors. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in HVAC mechanics, basic electrical and plumbing.
• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with work order software and basic computer use.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and operation of building mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Handle routine tenant comfort calls and PM tasks with minimal supervision.
• Operate building automation and life safety systems at a general level.
• Coordinate vendor visits and monitor service contractors.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and inventory of supplies.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls on rotating schedule.
