Trane Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site duties in the Atlanta area. The role involves performing repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems, handling minor HVAC tasks, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the maintenance field with repair skills.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and equipment.
• Capacity to work overtime as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs and basic software for records.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on the building, ensuring safe and functional operations.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance procedures to minimize equipment breakdowns and maximize efficiency.
• Handle landscaping tasks to maintain a clean and presentable exterior.
• Repair and troubleshoot issues related to office equipment, such as printers, copiers, and computers.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address commonly occurring maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with the EHS team to ensure compliance with facility safety checks and requirements.
• Monthly inspections of fire extinguishers and emergency exit lights.
• Maintain accurate EHS records using internal software and Microsoft programs.
• Assist with minor HVAC repairs as needed.
• Perform simple painting projects to improve the aesthetics of the facility.
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks and unclogging drains.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic carpentry tasks, such as repairing doors, windows, and flooring.
• Perform basic sanitation duties.
• Other maintenance or material handling duties/tasks may be assigned as needed.
• Order replacement parts and components for various building systems and equipment as necessary.
• Ensure effective communication with all levels on the production floor to address maintenance requests and provide updates on repairs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external stakeholders to fulfill equipment needs promptly and efficiently.
