Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated in Greenville, MS is seeking a facilities technician to support daily building operations. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and safety tasks while upholding high standards of guest comfort and safety.

The role requires the ability to read documentation and to handle tools and equipment typical of building maintenance. Experience in facilities and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior facilities experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.
• Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from team members or staff.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary for efficient operations of property.
• Help to maintain all tools, vehicles and equipment as assigned by Director.
• Completes all tasks as assigned.
• Repairs or replaces defective equipment using hand and power tools.
• Ability to use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers saws, drills, wrenches, or precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing device.
• Repairs roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, drywall and other parts of building structures.
• Ability to follow OSHA regulations and other safety regulations as set by the Company.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
