Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at Churchill Downs Incorporated ensures the upkeep, safety, and appearance of the gaming facility. You perform routine repairs, inspections, and responsive maintenance to keep equipment, systems, and spaces functioning smoothly.

You will work weekends and nights as needed, hold a high school diploma, and bring at least two years of maintenance experience, with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills, and the ability to obtain a Kentucky gaming license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Two years maintenance experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs is expected.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, systems, and structures within the facility.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and extend the life of assets.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with company, safety, and regulatory standards.
