Job summary

RiverSpring Living in Bronx, NY is looking for a Maintenance Worker to keep the facility safe, functional and well-maintained for residents and staff. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs and inspections across buildings, equipment and grounds to ensure high safety standards.

Qualifications include English reading/writing ability, and experience in facilities maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC). This is a full-time on-site role with benefits under the 1199 SEIU plan.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and effective communication in English required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Check CMMS for assigned work orders and log task completion details.
• Notify staff and perform tasks in a safe manner.
• Inspect resident rooms and work areas daily and report conditions needing management attention.
