Job summary

RHA Health Services is hiring a Maintenance Assistant – Regular to manage tools, equipment, and preventive maintenance at our facilities. You will inspect safety standards, report hazards, and support 24‑hour emergency maintenance operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4 years of general maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Pre‑employment screenings and training certifications may apply as part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Four years of general maintenance experience preferred; related experience considered.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance if transportation for individuals is required.
• Pre‑employment screenings: background check, registry name checks, drug testing and credential verification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work orders with Home Managers and staff to minimize disruption to activities.
• Build, repair, install counters, cabinets, benches, doors, walls, and related building components.
• Paint interior and exterior walls and trim.
• Install glass, window shades, blinds, curtain rods, locks; fixtures.

Education
