Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Plano is seeking a facility maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The role requires troubleshooting, carpentry, drywall, painting, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 1 year in building/industrial maintenance.
Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Experience with carpentry, drywall, and painting.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
Strong knowledge of building systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Troubleshoot and fix facility equipment and machinery.
Perform general maintenance tasks (painting, carpentry, drywall).
Respond to emergencies and coordinate with contractors/vendors.
Inspect facility and ensure OSHA/NFPA compliance.
Maintain tools, parts, and safety equipment.
