Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs across assigned properties. You will handle plumbing, doors, painting, minor HVAC tasks, and general building upkeep.

The role requires at least 2+ years in a commercial property setting, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. Expect site-based work with potential for overtime and on-call duties; compensation ranges with location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Strong troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance skills.
• Ability to work with building systems including plumbing, HVAC basics, electrical, painting, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including plumbing, kitchen equipment, doors, windows, locks, and minor HVAC troubleshooting.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, and paint walls, piping, floors and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and savings opportunities.
• Possess knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests promptly as assigned.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for unsafe conditions and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems related equipment as assigned.
• Perform carpentry when necessary.
• Comply with codes and company directives; practice safe work habits.
• Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and BAS.
• Complete C&W Safety Training annually.
• Comply with uniform dress code and presentable appearance on site.
