Job summary

Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team. You will help keep the center safe, comfortable, and fully functional for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC), inspections for hazards, preparing patient rooms and common areas, operating and maintaining equipment, and keeping records of work performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC repairs
• Conduct inspections of the facility to identify and address potential safety hazards or maintenance needs
• Assist in the preparation of patient rooms and common areas for occupancy
• Operate and maintain various equipment and machinery, including but not limited to: lifts, wheelchairs, and medical devices
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including regular reporting and documentation
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care
