Job summary

The Williamsport Home in Williamsport, PA seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks to keep the facility safe and comfortable for residents and staff.

You should have hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and a high school diploma or GED. Full-time positions with day shift, competitive pay based on experience, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening, criminal history record check and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues (faucets, toilets, drains)
• Complete basic electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs)
• Perform carpentry and general handyman work
• Assist with painting, patching walls, and minor renovations
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Assist with snow removal
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
• Work collaboratively with other departments and outside vendors when needed
