Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Refuge, a Healing Place in Ocklawaha, FL is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician responsible for lawn and grounds upkeep and general facility maintenance. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with pay starting at $18 per hour and commensurate with experience.

You will perform plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repairs; operate hand and power tools safely; follow preventive maintenance schedules; and inspect emergency power, fire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or facility operations.
• Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the building trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to facility and equipment (plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical).
• Back-up for call person in case of emergency and respond promptly.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete reports.
• Inspect emergency power equipment, generator, fire alarm, extinguishers and lighting.
• Inspect and maintain plumbing systems and furniture as needed.
