Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in maintenance or facility operations.
Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment including plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repair.
Back-up for call person in case of emergency; respond timely and appropriately.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete reports as required.
Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment and fire alarm system; test generators weekly and inspect extinguishers.
Inspect and maintain plumbing systems and repair/renovate furniture as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
