Job summary

Babcock National Golf Club in Punta Gorda, FL, is seeking a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the facility and equipment for guests and associates. The role supports a Troon-managed property, with responsibilities spanning inspections, preventative maintenance, and responsive repairs to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

The position offers a starting wage of $22 per hour and benefits such as healthcare, 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience or equivalent
• Driver's license may be required
• Other mechanical/equipment licenses (Boiler, HVAC, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Performs routine lodging inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical fixtures and safety systems.
• Conducts regular building inspections of floors, walls, ceilings, windows and doors.
• Executes preventative maintenance on equipment including HVAC, freezers, pools, and general machinery.
• Completes work orders, assesses tasks, and communicates results to staff and guests.
• Responds to emergencies, determines solutions, and mobilizes needed resources.
