Job summary

Spencer’s and Spirit in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep warehouse equipment running smoothly. You will inspect, repair, and maintain pallet jacks, lifts, forklifts, and related systems while following safety guidelines and PM schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team atmosphere.
• High school diploma or GED; and minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying environments (dust, heat, cold, noise).

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, high lifts, forklifts) to keep operations running.
• Review equipment reports, log actions, and adjust maintenance schedules with the Manager.
• Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance practices are followed and maintain PM logs.
• Perform emergency repairs and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow OSHA safety policies, lockout/tagout, and proper documentation.
