Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scrubbers, etc.) and to support facility systems and grounds. The role operates within a team, maintaining safety standards and schedules.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of maintenance experience in a large warehouse environment, with a schedule Sunday-Thursday, 8:00pm to 4:30am, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of maintenance experience including material handling equipment and general maintenance for large warehouse and office facilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily work orders for maintenance and repairs; minimize downtime.
• Order parts needed for equipment maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance per standards and timeframes.
• Maintain batteries and charging equipment.
• Keep maintenance schedules and records; manage shop cleanliness and expenses.
• Follow all safety standards and policies.
• Perform general maintenance across grounds, warehouse, shop and office facilities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
