GM Performance Power Units in Concord, NC is seeking a Facilities Technician onsite to support maintenance, safety inspections, and day-to-day facility operations. You will assist with events, cleaning, and grounds, while ensuring equipment reliability and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities maintenance, forklift/aerial lift certs, and CMMS use. Strong communication and the ability to work weekends are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in facilities maintenance; 3+ years’ experience.
• Hold current certification in forklift and aerial lift operation or have held within the last year.
• Previous use of CMMS systems.
• Physical ability to regularly lift objects weighing 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to understand and apply lock-out / tag-out procedures.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.

Aufgaben

• Operate forklifts and aerial lifts safely.
• Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed.
• Repair, maintain/monitor facility equipment and amenities.
• Clean windows and glass doors.
• Change equipment filters as required.
• Replace light bulbs interior/exterior.
• Prepare facility for events.
• Maintain grounds and trash removal.
• Assist with equipment installation/removals.
• Aid in interior trash removal and restocking.
• Perform other assigned duties as requested by supervisor and manager.
