Job summary

Intersect Healthcare of Grandville seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain production facility equipment and environments in accordance with safety and preventive maintenance standards.

The role supports the Environmental Services Manager and facility staff through routine inspections, repairs, and sanitation tasks, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant building for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in a comparable position preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of carpentry, preventative maintenance and ground maintenance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Implement inspections and repairs required by the preventative maintenance program and as requested by EVS Manager and facility staff.
• Check and clean exhaust ventilators, heating and air conditioning units, and respective filters and air handlers.
• Replace light bulbs, hang pictures, and move furniture as required.
• Perform touch up and redecorating tasks, such as patching and painting, as required.
• Conduct regular environmental and maintenance rounds of the building, grounds, and systems to evaluate needs and ensure sanitation, safety and maintenance.
• Adhere to Standard Precautions and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards; keep work area clean and orderly.
