Job summary

Intersect Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production facility equipment in a healthcare environment. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and compliance to facility standards.

Responsibilities include floor care, inspections, light maintenance, and coordinating with the EVS Manager and staff. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with prior maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in a comparable position preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Implement inspections and repairs required by the preventative maintenance program and as requested by the EVS Manager and facility staff.
• Check and clean exhaust ventilators, heating and air conditioning units, and respective filters and air handlers.
• Replace light bulbs, hang pictures, and move furniture as required.
• Perform touch up and redecorating tasks, such as patching and painting, as required.
• Conduct monthly fire drills and document results.
• Adhere to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the work area.
