Job summary

Intersect Healthcare of Big Rapids is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain and repair facility equipment, perform floor care, and support safety and sanitation programs. You will conduct inspections, assist in emergency procedures, and coordinate with the EVS Manager to ensure compliance with regulations.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and at least three years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in comparable position preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Implement inspections and repairs required by the preventive maintenance program.
• Check and clean exhaust ventilators, HVAC units, and filters.
• Replace light bulbs, hang pictures, and move furniture as required.
• Perform touch up and redecorating tasks, such as patching and painting.
• Conduct regular environmental and maintenance rounds of the building, grounds, and systems.
• Adhere to OSHA compliance and safety standards.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Must be able to assist in emergency and evacuation procedures.
