Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a Utilities Worker to perform facility maintenance, repair, and light construction across assigned sites. This includes plumbing, electrical, painting, light carpentry, and occasional custodial work.

The role offers a Mon-Fri shift 12:30 pm – 9:30 pm with an hourly pay range of $22.00-$26.00. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical tasks in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and basic maintenance.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building repairs such as painting, basic carpentry, light plumbing/bathroom repairs, door and hardware repair.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and surfaces to identify needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces; vacuum and mop floors.
• Restock areas and manage utility supplies; restock paper goods and soap regularly.
• Support movement of materials, escort cash deposits, and maintain logs.
• Set up conference rooms and assist with food and beverage for meetings.
• Respond to facility emergencies and notify staff after hours.
• Assist with other duties including security, mail, and custodial tasks as required.
