Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services is seeking an Utilities Worker to perform a wide range of facility maintenance, repair, and light construction tasks across assigned sites. This role requires practical skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry, with occasional custodial duties.

The position features a 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm shift, with pay starting at $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building repairs, including painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, door and hardware repairs.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance; vacuum and mop floors.
• Restock supplies and manage utility/janitor closets.
• Assist with event setup and catering support.
• Respond to facility emergencies and notify after-hours staff.
• Support movement of materials and prepare logs/reports.
