Job summary

The Greer Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Raleigh for a temporary-to-permanent full-time role. The position covers day-to-day maintenance, repair, and safe operation of hospice facilities and grounds.

You will perform routine and urgent maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain detailed logs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems. On-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and determine solutions.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs for equipment and systems.
• Willingness to respond to after-hours maintenance issues on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance, repair, and safe operation of hospice facilities and grounds.
• Respond to routine, preventative, and urgent maintenance needs across campus and locations.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate in-house repairs or with external vendors as needed.
• Maintain logs for HVAC, generators, life-safety systems, and other equipment.
• Assist with vendor oversight, scheduling, documentation, and compliance activities.
• Serve as backup to Facilities Manager and support continuity of operations.
