Job summary

Southern-States-LLC is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician I to perform maintenance, repairs, installations, training, and oversight when senior staff are unavailable. You will coordinate activities of workers and contractors, train maintenance personnel, and fill in for the Maintenance Facility Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a two-year maintenance certificate, or five years of maintenance lead experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
• Ability to write reports and procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Develops work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
• Coordinate, allocate, execute, and close Work Orders.
• Lead installations, relocations, and removals of production machinery.
• Mentor and train maintenance staff.
• Travel offsite for inspections, parts, or evaluations.
• Represents Maintenance Facility Manager in meetings.
• Ensure safety standards and proper repairs.
• Test and diagnose equipment; replace faulty components.
