Job summary

Southern States LLC is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician I to perform essential maintenance, repairs, and installations for critical assets within our Hampton, GA facilities. You will coordinate with workers and contractors, train maintenance staff, and represent the Maintenance Facility Manager when needed.

Robotic and CNC-related tasks may be involved. You will lead and mentor technicians, schedule repairs, ensure safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Maintenance certificate (2 years) preferred.
Excellent customer service skills and strong communication ability.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.

Responsibilities

Develops work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
Assist with the allocation, coordination, execution and closing of Work Orders to ensure prompt response to critical needs.
Develops and maintains positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Assist Facility Maintenance Manager with corporate/facility projects.
Lead installations, relocations, and removals of production machinery and equipment.
