Job summary

SanMar Corp. is seeking a Facilities III (Maintenance III) to maintain and repair buildings, mechanical systems and conveyance equipment in a active distribution/warehouse environment. The role requires performing preventive and corrective maintenance, maintaining records and ensuring safety compliance.

The candidate will work 8:00AM-4:30PM with a salary range of $21.50–$28.94 per hour and may handle basic electrical and security-system repairs, renovations, and snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of facility maintenance experience required.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance principles, procedures and standards.
• Lift Operator Certification may be required (OSHA).
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt priorities as needed.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs of buildings and equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment; inspect belts, fluids, filters, bearings, seals.
• Coordinate external contractors/vendors for installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly maintenance checklists; maintain records.
• Maintain HAZMAT records and follow safety policies.
• Respond to maintenance inquiries and resolve issues.
• Operate CMMS to monitor equipment and maintenance.
• Repair electrical locks and control panels for building security.
• Assist with renovations, drywall, painting and other projects.
• Perform outdoor custodial duties and snow removal when needed.
• Order parts and supplies; obtain estimates.
• Suggest and implement maintenance program improvements.
• Operate powered lift equipment when required.
