Job summary

Adams and Associates provides maintenance support for the Center, ensuring facilities and grounds are safe and well‑maintained. The role requires hands‑on repair and preventive work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, with supervision duties for students and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least one year of maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license; advanced degrees are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certificate preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in building maintenance required.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and preventive maintenance to facility and building systems on Center.
• May inspect the work of other maintenance personnel.
• Researches and recommends purchase of replacement equipment as needed.
• Oversees training activities of students assigned to the maintenance area.
• Oversees activities and quality of outside contractors performing repairs/replacements.
• Cares for periodic inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure quality and safety.
• Completes work orders and provides student transport as necessary.
