Job summary

KW Property Management and Consulting seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventive upkeep of building systems both inside and out. Under limited supervision, you will address electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and related tasks to keep the property safe and functional.

You will schedule and coordinate vendors, maintain maintenance logs, respond to emergencies within 30 minutes, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years general experience in building trades or maintenance.
• Ability to react and address emergencies within 30 minutes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for repairs and emergencies outside routine scope.
• Maintain a schedule of maintenance and next service due dates.
• Ensure safe work practices and report safety concerns.
• Inspect mechanical systems and adjust controls for proper operation.
• Complete work orders using KWPMC system.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
