Job summary

KW Property Management & Consulting is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across interior and exterior building systems, under limited supervision. Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, managing work orders, and ensuring access protocols are followed for residents.

The role requires at least four years in building trades, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years general experience in building trades.
• Basic knowledge handling minor electrical repairs.
• Ability to react and address all emergency situations within 30 minutes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior.
• Contacts and schedules vendors for necessary repairs outside routine maintenance.
• Communicates access protocols with Front desk, Management office and other departments.
• Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Inspect building mechanical systems/equipment and adjust building controls as needed.
• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other repairs per work orders.
• Complete all forms and work orders using KWPMC system.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
