Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support facility and equipment maintenance under the Maintenance/Facility Supervisor. Responsibilities include clean facilities, perform preventative and corrective work, and maintain maintenance records.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and safe operation of a tow motor. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and no major disqualifying driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Must be able to read and follow written work instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate a tow motor.
• Valid driver’s license and a clear driving record for the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform Facility duties as assigned by the Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor to ensure functional performance, appearance, and safe conditions.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities work from specifications, drawings and manuals.
• Safely work independently and around others by following all required procedures and processes.
• Repair, maintain, lubricate, install and replace plant equipment as assigned.
• Responsible for keeping the floors, windows, machinery and the overall facility clean.
• Prepare, record and maintain maintenance records associated with equipment procedures & manuals.
• Periodically drive CRT vehicles to drop off or pick up supplies and materials along with grounds equipment.
• Safely work independently and around others and identify plant deficiencies and other unacceptable conditions if observed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must maintain positive, cooperative attitude and be able to work with other employees as a member of an organizational team.
