Job summary

Factory Motor Part is seeking an energetic Facility Maintenance Associate to care for, repair, and perform preventative maintenance of the facility and its equipment.

Responsibilities include inspecting the facility and equipment for maintenance, responding to emergency requests, maintaining logs, keeping workspace clean, and ensuring safety standards are met; 1–2 years automated machinery maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in maintaining automated machinery
• Effective verbal communication and ability to upscale issues when needed.
• Ability to visually inspect product and troubleshoot to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the facility, it's structures, machinery and equipment for repair and/or maintenance in addition to ensuring that they meet federal and local safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Responding to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
• Communicating issues and concerns effectively.
• Ensuring supplies and materials are available for maintenance, hygiene, and cleanliness.
• Performing grounds keeping tasks, cosmetic repair (painting, door repairs, lights, etc.), preventative maintenance on production machines, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintaining maintenance records and log sheets.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work space.
