Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support facility operations across on-site properties in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves performing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance and collaborating with engineers to ensure optimal building performance and tenant satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial maintenance experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of building repair/maintenance experience in a commercial setting.
• Experience with basic plumbing and basic electrical work.
• Demonstrated competency in inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must complete required safety trainings and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment.
• Conduct facility inspections and report issues affecting occupancy and operations.
• Perform interior maintenance tasks (hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture, doors).
• Replace lighting, ballasts, clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials as needed.
• Update work order status in CMMS (Corrigo) and assist with documentation.
• Complete hazard assessments and maintain compliance with safety procedures.
