Job summary

InVision Human Services, Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Staff member to support maintenance at our residential and office locations.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with Facilities Supervisors and the Maintenance Team Leader. The role requires at least one year of residential or commercial facilities maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in residential or commercial facilities maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal communication and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information to Facilities Manager and staff.
• Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks.
• Must complete motor vehicle records and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance solutions meeting health/safety standards for residential and commercial locations.
• Repair/install electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Assess and report on household systems: HVAC, appliances.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and advise Facilities team.
• Perform preventive maintenance on locations.
• Complete licensing preparation per DPW Reg. 6400.
• Complete new residential site property assessments.
• Address health/safety issues as needed.
