Job summary

Facility Services Management Inc. is seeking a dependable General Maintenance Worker to join our facilities and grounds team. You’ll perform building repairs, groundskeeping, and routine preventive maintenance to keep workplaces safe, clean, and well-maintained.

You’ll work indoors and outdoors, use basic tools, follow safety policies, and collaborate with teammates. A minimum of 2 years’ maintenance experience and a strong work ethic are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• General knowledge of building maintenance and safe equipment operation.
• Experience with groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor property maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass local background check and NAC/LAC clearance after hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds to keep a safe, clean environment.
• Perform general repairs: plumbing, painting, carpentry, masonry, electrical work.
• Replace belts and filters on air handling units.
• Mow, weed eat, edge, trim, and maintain landscapes.
• Keep sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and exterior spaces safe and presentable.
• Safely operate groundskeeping tools and equipment.
