Job summary

Intrepid Professional Group is seeking a reliable maintenance technician to support the safe, efficient operation of facilities, equipment, and systems. You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs while documenting activities and coordinating with teammates.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems, basic computer use for work orders, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or a related hands-on environment preferred.
• Ability to diagnose issues, use basic hand and power tools, and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing priorities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for entering work orders, documenting activities, or using maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facility components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities according to established schedules and procedures.
• Respond to service requests and address urgent maintenance needs as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts usage, and completed work orders.
• Assist with installation, adjustment, and testing of equipment and systems as needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and safety.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment organized and in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding maintenance needs and project status.
