Job summary

Crunch Fitness seeks a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our clubs across Southern California. You will fix and maintain gym equipment, ensure safety standards, and keep facilities in prime condition to keep members happy and coming back.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits, including health and vision insurance, with a focus on quality and timely problem solving in a fast-paced gym environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years maintenance experience or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year handyman experience preferred.
• General repair and building maintenance skills required.
• Basic HVAC and/or electrical knowledge recommended.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills required.
• Comfortable with email, Excel, and digital logs.

Responsibilities

• Walk the facility to identify repair needs and perform maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and report to Regional Facility Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain hydromassage beds, tanning booths, and other equipment.
• Order parts, tools, and materials as needed.
• Perform monthly OSHA safety checks.
• Help members on the floor when needed.

This is an active, hands-on role. You'll be:

• Working in a lively gym environment
• Lifting 50+ lbs
• Squatting, bending, reaching, climbing ladders
• Moving equipment
• Working with cleaning supplies, tools, and mechanical parts

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Walking the facility and identifying repair needs
• Keeping accurate maintenance logs
• Working with the General Manager on repair timelines
• Reporting to the Regional Facility Maintenance Manager
• Maintaining hydromassage beds, tanning booths, and other equipment
• Ordering parts, tools, and materials
• Performing preventative maintenance on gym equipment and the facility itself
• Completing monthly OSHA safety checks
• Helping members on the floor when needed
