Job summary

City of San Luis is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across municipal facilities. Duties include bulb changes, basic electrical/plumbing work, HVAC upkeep and equipment operation, with emphasis on safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance tasks including bulb changes, minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Conduct minor plumbing repairs such as replacing fixtures and fixing leaks.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, lighting, doors, and related hardware.
• Oversee basic roof maintenance, gutters, and cleaning.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment for cleaning and repairs.
• Report major repairs or supply needs to supervisor and assist with safety procedures.
