Job summary

Safetycityabilene is seeking Facilities Maintenance Technicians I/II/III/SR to ensure maintenance and safety of facilities. Roles include performing skilled tasks in repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and conducting inspections of systems.

The ideal candidates will have experience in technical trades such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, with varying requirements based on the technician level. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in a technical trade is required for Technician I.
• Two (2) years of experience in a technical trade is required for Technician II.
• Four (4) years of experience in a technical trade is required for Technician III.
• Five (5) years of experience in a technical trade is required for Senior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and special projects.
