Facilities Maintenance Technician Part-Time
Facilities Maintenance Technicians assist with various facility maintenance and repairs of buildings & grounds at campuses belonging to The Heights Baptist Church. This includes electrical troubleshooting and repairs, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs (on the job HVAC training provided) general facilities maintenance and facility setup which may include setting up, tearing down and/or relocating tables, chairs, displays and/or decorations for various ministry related purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Setup of rooms being used for weekly events as well as special events.
Setup of all rooms being used on Sunday mornings.
Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of recurring tasks, such as carpet cleaning, window cleaning, power washing, checking lights and changing light bulbs.
Must be available via radio to help anyone in the church with moving items, picking up items or putting things away.
Assist the facilities manager and other maintenance technicians with various projects.
Have some working knowledge of handyman work to assist our maintenance supervisor.
Must be able to work independently, as this position will need to monitor and check off their work as they go.
May occasionally need to help with cleaning during busy season.
This position will work 20-30 hours per week.
This position is part time therefore does not include benefits.
