JOB SUMMARY

To promote PATH's mission by being an effective team member ensuring properties are maintained to provide a safe, welcoming environment for living, working, and receiving services.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be physically able to lift and move items weighing at least 50 pounds.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
  1. Assist with or perform maintenance tasks across all agency facilities, including repairs and coordinating with outside contractors.
  2. Open and/or close locations as scheduled, following security procedures.
  3. Conduct site checklists to ensure safe operation of mechanical systems and environment.
  4. Monitor and perform preventative maintenance, including landscaping, cleaning, and work orders.
  5. Assist supervisor in training staff on facilities maintenance.
  6. Coordinate necessary maintenance and prioritize work schedules.
  7. Perform painting and supervise outside contractors when needed.
  8. Oversee the long-term storage organization.
  9. Ensure adequate supplies at copiers and manage agency vehicles for relocations and material pickups.
  10. Monitor HVAC systems daily.
  11. Respond to emergency facility requests during work hours.
  12. Assist with fire drill evacuations and snow removal.
  13. Manage refuse removal and order maintenance materials.
  14. Be on call on a rotating schedule, including evenings, mornings, and weekends.
  15. Perform routine building maintenance and safety repairs.
  16. Fix plumbing issues and apply preventative building measures.
  17. Support facilities inventory management and participate in staff safety meetings.
