Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated maintenance worker to uphold the grounds, facilities, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. You will follow established schedules, coordinate with nursing services, and perform routine upkeep to ensure resident comfort and safety.

The role requires basic maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical tasks, with emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and timely reporting of issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safety and confidentiality of resident information.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for assigned shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and service lighting as needed.
• Service HVAC units according to manufacturer instructions and policies.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas and properly store equipment.
