Job summary

Luzerne County Community College is seeking a maintenance technician to perform repairs, painting and general upkeep of the college facilities. The role includes maintaining electrical wiring and fixtures as needed, and assisting with grounds and custodial tasks when required.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least three years of building maintenance experience, with demonstrated hands-on skills in repairs and preventive maintenance across a variety of trades.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, painting, and maintenance of facilities.
• Assist with grounds and custodial duties when necessary.
• Set up for on- & off-campus functions as needed.
• Assist with operation of college equipment such as forklift, bucket truck, high lift and backhoe.
