Job summary

Weyland Ventures in Louisville, KY is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This role maintains and repairs facilities for commercial and multi-unit properties, executing work orders promptly and ensuring strong curb appeal.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, with a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or GED required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations is a plus.
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Surveys buildings, ensuring consistency with health and safety standards.
• General upkeep and tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, appliance install, drywall repair, windows.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Shares on-call rotation.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for move-ins.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

This position maintains and repairs facilities for commercial and multi-unit residential properties, executes work orders in a timely manner, and ensures the properties maintain excellent curb appeal and first impressions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Surveys buildings, ensuring consistency with health and safety standards.
• Conducts general upkeep and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, plumbing, appliance install, drywall repair, windows, etc.)
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Shares on-call rotation
• Other duties as assigned.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments homes for move-ins.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
