Canvas Companies, LLC is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to ensure over 100 multifamily units and 85,000 SF of commercial space are operating efficiently. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance work orders, communicating with property management, and maintaining building supplies. Ideal candidates should have 2+ years of related experience, HVAC certification preferred, plumbing and electrical experience required, and possess strong communication skills. A hospitality mindset is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Maintenance Tech / Building Engineer or related construction experience.
• HVAC certified preferred.
• Multifamily and commercial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and complete all maintenance work orders and improvement projects.
• Communicate with Property Manager, 3rd party providers and Tenants to ensure work orders are completed efficiently.
• Document and track all costs and time associated with work orders.

Job Summary

We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our portfolio of 100+ multifamily units and 85,000 SF of commercial space are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and complete all maintenance work orders and improvement projects
• Communicate with Property Manager, 3rd party providers and Tenants to insure work orders are completed efficiently
• Document and track all costs and time associated with work orders and improvement projects and input into property management software
• Maintain building supplies through inventory management system using property management software

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Maintenance Tech / Building Engineer or related construction experience
• HVAC certified preferred
• Plumbing and Electrical experience required
• Multifamily and commercial experience preferred
• Technologically savvy with strong computer and mobile skills
• Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
• Independent self-starter
• Hospitality mindset with a great bedside manner
