Job summary

Weyland Ventures is seeking an experienced Property Facilities Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This role maintains and repairs facilities for commercial and multi-unit properties, completes work orders promptly, and ensures curb appeal and first impressions.

Responsibilities include safety surveys, general upkeep (painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC), on-call rotation, and preparing vacant apartments for move-ins. A high school diploma and knowledge of tools are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a maintenance technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances a plus.
• OSHA knowledge is beneficial.
• Safe use of hand and power tools required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for local travel.
• Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Share on-call rotation.

Position Summary

This position maintains and repairs facilities for commercial and multi-unit residential properties, executes work orders in a timely manner, and ensures the properties maintain excellent curb appeal and first impressions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Surveys buildings, ensuring consistency with health and safety standards.
• Conducts general upkeep and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, plumbing, appliance install, drywall repair, windows, etc.)
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Shares on-call rotation
• Other duties as assigned.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments homes for move-ins.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum high school or GED required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations are a plus!
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician
• Deadline, detail, and customer service-oriented
• Strong knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (position requires local travel)
