Job description

Facilities Maintenance Technician

In this role as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support and maintain manufacturing and production process equipment, utility needs, and ensure product quality requirements. The job is key to ongoing preventive maintenance and management of all refrigeration systems and building equipment, including steam boilers, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will participate in rotating "On Call" duties for after-hours facilities emergencies and refrigeration temperature alarms to ensure product quality.

How You'll Make An Impact:

1. Work with refrigeration contractors, sign off work orders, generate purchase requisitions, and sign and date invoices.
2. Oversee refrigeration spare parts inventory and asset disposal.
3. Perform scheduled building equipment preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, complete PM check sheets, sign and date equipment tags, and log tasks into computer maintenance management software.
4. Maintain chart recorders and refrigeration leak log book.
5. Analyze and troubleshoot facility-related issues.

What You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• EPA certification to handle refrigerants of all types.
• 5+ years of experience working in a GMP environment with HVAC and Refrigeration equipment in a facilities/plant maintenance organization.
• Experience using computer maintenance management software, temperature monitoring software, and applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Compensation:

The estimated base salary range for this position is $37.69 to $51.83 per hour, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer and depends on factors such as location, experience, skills, and other relevant criteria. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
