Job summary

Preit is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Operations by performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety-compliant upkeep of property systems. The role involves interior/exterior maintenance, equipment operation, and assisting with event setups and snow removal when needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in building maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on interior/exterior areas.
• Assist with setup of events and removal of mall décor.
• Perform custodial duties as needed and assist with snow removal when required.
• Maintain inventory records and safety data sheets for supplies and tools.
• Interact with tenants and public while maintaining safety procedures.
