Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) seeks a General Maintenance Technician to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at our Devens, MA facility. You will perform repairs to walls, doors, and fixtures and help maintain safe, efficient building operations.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, reading SOPs, and performing preventive tasks with accurate CMMS record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training desirable.
• 3+ years in general building repair, basic plumbing, and electrical.
• Ability to read, understand and follow SOPs for procedures, buildings and equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, restore and replace components of building structure.
• Repair interior and exterior fixtures, doors, and hardware.
• Maintain plumbing components including toilets, sinks, piping, pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections; document findings.
• Operate CMMS to track work orders and inventory.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safe work practices.
