Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Hopkinton, MA. You will maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, perform inspections, and support engineers while ensuring safety and efficiency across facilities.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Regular shifts are 8 hours with potential weekend/emergency coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of building repair and maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver's license and defensive driving.
• Willingness to work 8-hour shifts with weekend/holiday flexibility.
• Strong safety awareness and hazard recognition.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments for occupancy and operations.
• Assist engineers with maintenance projects and complete assigned tasks.
• Handle interior maintenance tasks such as patching walls and door repairs.
• Move office furniture and equipment to support facility operations.
• Complete hazard assessments and maintain safe work areas.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safe storage of hazardous materials.
